BEAUTY | Valentine Make-up!

OMG! Almost Valentines day!! Start grooming and painting ladies!! Today we serve :Naturel Valentines day Make-up!!
Already thinking 'hey, that ain't Farah or Hanan?' Well...Why we did this on our little sister? My own boyfriend is still not back from his 6 month absence (he's studying in spain) and Hanan's better half isn't much of a make-up man. And we're lazy and it's ten times more fun to do make up on a pretty teen's face hence our little sister:)

What we did:

First: smooth the skin! We used a rimmel foundation and garnier roller for the dark spots!

For the eyes we used our 66 palette from Urban Outfitters. We used a old pink as base colour for the eye. After we took a taupe colour we used just above the upper lashes to create a wing. This we darkened with some black shadow to have a more smokey effect!

For the brows, we used a dark brown from a little NYCs palette.

We curled the eyelashes and put a clinique mascara on them. We used a Kiko cheek stain as blusher and for the lips we used a nude estée lauder lipgloss!

Cats are cool. Just stating the obvious here! We have two cats and don't like dogs in general. Ofcourse we can make an exception but still..Cats. C'mon! They.the.shit!

As I was saying, we have two cats. One's called Zoro and the other one is called... *drummroll*..CAT :) Please, applause for originality! And I know it's bad to have favourites, but hey, Cat was there first, she is our favourite..Fact not fiction. Ask our closest friends, they'll say it's evil but they can't deny!

So the other day I came up with the idea to dress up Cat. I grabbed one of our bowties and wrapped it around her like a little collar. ÜBERCUTE!! I'm telling ya! Next thing we know, browsing the web for cat fashion. Clearly there are some other cool cats out there! AND couture for cats! We found an Etsy shop called CatAtelier, which sells an awesome assortment of carefully crafted ties, neckpieces and hats for El Miauws! BLEW OUR MIND! Check it out!

Hi dolls! This is what I wore today. Not really feeling too good though. Generally just feeling a bit under the weather. I need sun, what can I say? It's so cold here in Antwerp I feel like my fingers and toes will fall off. How to survive this weather? I have no clue. Staying inside isn't a good thing, even with hot coco and brownies. So today I went out and saw some of my friends.

I just threw on this big sweater since I was already running late. That's when I remembered these hot pink tights I bought months ago and never worn before. Put them on like they were some happy making treatment, since I'm wearing grey and black weeks now. I Liked the change!!

On repeat! I think we have found the best video of 2012! This video is gangsta as hell and M.I.A. looks really good! Totally BADASS = We LIKE!!! Seriously. She’s filing her nails while sitting on the door of a car with half the wheels in the air?!Love the dig at the Saudi driving ban, love the blinged-out head coverings, and of course love the STREET GLOW. This definitely makes me want to visit Morocco/the home country again!

Hi there gorgeous!
These past few weeks I had quite a few people asking me if I had coloured my hair again. It's weird because the last time I coloured it was a year ago. I did it with henna because I didn't want to dammage my hair. I also cut like 10 cm from it, because...well...split ends. You know, the same old song. Better long hair with split ends, than short hair ;) Anyway, it got me thinking, maybe to do some ombre on my locks. Right now you see the grow out of the henna, but I might just re-do it for a sharper effect. On the other hand: bleaching will kill my hair. And some, like myself, think the ombre look is over and out, but hell, I still like it! Whatever I do, I'm not cutting it again! The lenght is here to stay! Even with a little damaged look. I'll just pretend I'm going for the rock star look:D
But to be honest, i'm just bored with my books and I have like a million ideas. I even considered going outside to take a hike for a second = super lame + super cold!
One exam to go and I'm a free woman!!

BEAUTY | Lush Vanishing Cream Review

So today we're reviewing LUSH Vanishing Cream. This is a low fat moisturiser, and since I have a combinationed skin with a oily T-zone I thought this would be a good pick! This is a very light cream, and it conatins only 11% fat

The main smells of this cream is Lavender, with a mix of rose water. I know fragrance is very personal but for me it was perfect and fresh.

The texture feels a bit watery in the beginning, it reminded me of a cleansing lotion. But once you put it and massage it into your skin, you notice it's creamyness. It's really soft and it doesn't overload your skin with a greasy layer, or make you feel caky. So great for people who suffer from acne or a oily T-zone ^^

The only thing I didn't like was the packaging. The vanishing cream comes in a black container. I really like LUSH with their 100% recycled plastic containers, but i'm not a fan of creams in a pot because you need to dip your fingers in it = bacteria. So, I always use a clean cotton swab to get the cream out of the jar:)

End result:
Great if you have combinationed or oily skin. It doensn't make you break out. I'm definitely buying this again!

For all out there not really liking the mulberry designs, how can you resist this ad with human-sized candy and icecream?!
Doesn't it make you feel like a kid again? This really reminds us of back in the days as 7 and 5 year olds, when we used to sneak into our moms room, put on her make-up and walking in her shoes and dresses..Just feeling like kids again! No doubt this will be a campaign to remember!

One celeb I really love is Whitney Port. Not only is she super sweet, she's so stylish and I'm in love with her designs. It's a perfect reflection of what I love to wear. On one of my many studybreaks, wandering through the world wide/wilde web, I came along the Whitney Eve Spring 2012 lookbook. It's only an hour later that I realized I've spent 50 minutes drooling over clothes. All I wanted was a tea party to attend and a button to print off clothes from the internet through my printer. I know. I'm losing my mind here a little bit:)

Make-up | KIKO haul.

In november I went to spain, as a petit voyage (aka trying to outrun belgian weather). Not only was I dazed by the hot chicos, I also did a little dance when I walked by Kiko! Can you believe we STILL don't have a KIKO in belgium? Shame. Such a shame.

I was really happy the spanish sales ladies at kiko (who were made up like they were going to a studio 54 party) spoke super bad english. So when I said perdón Yo no hablo español, they just left me and I could walk around without an annoying girl trying to sell me everying from glitter powder to eyeshadowbase!Jeej for that one;)

What did I get? For hanan, I bought a red lipstick in a dark burgundy shade, since she's obsessed with red lips (even though her skin is so pale, she looks great with red). 
One thing I'm very happy about is that dirty green nailpolish you've already seen in the newspaper nails tutorial! Perfect colour (it's a great alternative in my winter nailpolish collection) and it's a quick dry (which suits my lifestyle aka no time for nailpolish to dry, I need to dress, do my hair, have breakfast AND bike to the busstop-hello!)! 
My personal favourite is the pink super gloss! Gorgeous natural pinky colour:) Perfect if you want to keep it all 'naturel' and have a boyfriend that hates red lipstick (Like mine -__-. Not that I listen ofcourse haha)Plus,it smells SO good I want to lick it off my lips when I put it on;)(But I don't do that because that is hoochie. Obviously). 
Last and least favourite is a pink water blush cheek stain..I like the colour but I just don't like the way it sticks on your skin. Not my cup of tea..Waste of money. I would give it away, but knowing myself I might get into it over a month or 6;).

Threeway | tri colored dress

Our little sister is dying to follow our footsteps and be the third musketeer @ fashionfabrice. The three of us are very close so I can’t wait to introduce her to you guys! But we’re still keeping her out of the World of Gliz, Glam and Pink Cocktails, trying to keep her a innocent teenager.

Right now she has christmas break from school and all she does is watching old america's next top model-episodes, reading every fashion magazine we own and bookmarking editorials she likes (really adorable)! So I wasn’t surprised when she came up to me the other day.

She: ‘so.. you know it’s a long time ago since you’ve posted somthing on the blog’

Me (looking up from my books):’I’m studying. Are you hinting on something here? I’ve already told you no cocktails under 18!’

She:’Too bad! But still, I was reading flair..’ (flair=a weekly belgian fashionmagazine)

Me:’Oh really. Quelle surprise’

She:’Yeah well, you know they have this piece where they dress people? Why won’t you do something like that? Maybe restyle someone? Or..’

Me:’Or maybe one outfit and different ways to wear it?!’

She:’Oh my god, yeah! *silence* Can I..’

Me:’ Yes you can.’

Outfit | Storm & Marie x 3.

Raining cats and dogs outside! Not the perfect environment for outfitpictures.. Unless you want a wet tshirt look that is. Really lazy today so I picked an all Storm&Marie look. Black woolen jacket, pink blouse worn as a dress (since my midget height, I can pull it off!) und schließlich, black stockings and a studded clutch! Don't get all confusses by my german input though. Storm&Marie is a Denish label ;) I already told you about it here!

Something totally different now. Remember I was telling you I want a tattoo (yeah I know I've been telling you that for a year now but it's my blog so I can whine and nag as much as I wanna;) ) ?
Well last weekend when me and my friends were out, one of my friend promissed me to pay half of the tattoo, if he liked the one I picked! He might have been a tiny bit faded when he made the promisse but still : AWESOME!^^ So ofcourse: soon a tattoo post haha!

Last weekend we took some time to clean out our closets because on monday, we would go swapping again! As usual we had some heartbreaking decisions to make. On friday I convinced Hanan to swap the COS blouse she bought in august to wear for Paris Fashion Week. A buy made when she was suffering from hysteria, not knowing what to wear in Paris #DRAMA. She never wore it and the label was still on it. I'm telling ya', hysteria!

 Anyway, on sunday she changed her mind again 'Are you crazy, this blouse is perfect! Look at the fabrics?! It's 3 in 1!'. So we continued picking out clothes...

How was the swapping itself? The usual, pink cocktails, sweet cupcakes, sprinkles, a whole-lotta clothes, hair, make-up, nails, and even face tanning! All pleasure, fun, and fighting over clothes! ;) Hanan and I wanted both other things, and as we always put our swapdots together, that was kind of a problem. At last we ended up with the thing I wanted: a gorgeous orange ruffled summer dress from Ted Baker, new, with label = Me happy. Hanan din't get the jacket she wanted BUT that's karma for not wanting to swap the COS blouse!:p

The little black dress! Never getting out of style. Unless worn with fur, smudged red lips and worn-out heels and you look like a prostitute. Not the look I was going for here! We took these pictures at the Central Station in Antwerp in the afternoon. It was freezing cold. Everyone was wearing coats, hats and scarves and there I was walking around with a runny nose haha. A few creepy old men were staring from the other side of the street, just what I needed. Like I wasn't feeling uncomforable enough already! Thank god Farah was with me to take the pictures! 

I got this new dress from AX Paris. Perfect fit(thumbs up! I hate bad fittings!) and love it because of the dots (Polka style)! It's more of an eveningdress but with the right blazer or sweater you can make it as day as the sun! I can assure you, if you wear the dress with flat (biker/worker)boots and a leather jacket: no stalking by old men with no teeth!

DIY | Newspaper nails.

Tired of basic one-coloured nailpolish? Here's a new trend I saw some time ago in a magazine! Newspaper nails! Might turn you from a nailbiter into a nailreader ;) 

It's super easy to do yourself! All you need is :

1= Nailpolish, best in a light colour. If you want to go for the real 'newspaper' feeling, go for grey!

2=Alcohol. I would recommend Vodka, but since I didn't have that at home I used rubbing alcohol.

3=A newspaper. Duh!

Now how are you going to do this yourself?  

Step 1: Apply the nailpolish and let it dry.
Step 2: Dip each fingernail into some alcohol. Don't put your finger in the bottle that's nasty. Pour some of it in a glass! 

Step 3: Press a strip of printed newspaper onto the top the alcohol-soaked nail and PRESS for about 20 sec.! Peel back slowly.
Step 4: Important! Apply a high-gloss top coat to seal in the print and voila! You've got all the news, right on your fingertips.

And H&M did it again! Persuaded a big Fashion house to work with them, produced a collection and afforable for all fashionaddicts! The question everyone asks: what about it's quality? . 'Cause it's still H&M. Probably still the same chinese kids in sweatshops sewing the golden Versace buttons on the dresses.  
Obviously a great marketing move. People camping in front of the stores all night, almost freezing, keeping themselves warm with 5 coats and some booz.. Apart from the black, leather and studs in the colection, I think the most of it  was just crap. Typical Versace, clothes in the grey zone between trashy  and sexy. Kind of sad, really, Donatella. Even though you tried so hard with the trillion 'happy colours'. Still, what you get are true knock-offs from the real Versace, but you get it in a green and blue leopard dustbag, with a (gold) Versace label and in a very, very, very colourful bag! Huray!

However, who am I talking to? I would kill to buy that black leather trench. Not really because it's Versace. Because it's only 350 euro's and I checked it out. Real leather, great design, wanna have:)

Event | Barbara Gandolfi for VELA.

We went to the launch of Barbara Gandlfi's own lingerie line for VELA. At first we were like 'Barbara Gandolfi? THE Gandolfi? Jean - Paul Belmondos Gandolfi? Didn't she pose in playboy?'etc etc.

Probably all just old womans tales...bitter because of their saggy jelly bottoms. All our gossip-magazine prejudices got swept away after the first few seconds . We were so amazed by her sweetness!! No allures, no looking down on others. Just a fabulous, amazing looking, super tanned woman with a très hot body, especially after having two kids! All celebs should be like her, honestly! 

So, the people at VELA (a Belgian lingerie brand owned by Barbara Romano) were probably brainstorming about finding 'the perfect hottie' for their new collection, when they came up with Barbara G.! When asked, Barbara told us she didn't hesitate a minute! Ofcourse she wanted to design a lingerie collection. (Seriously, who wouldn't?)

The collection brings a variety of underwear: babydolls, thongs, tank tops, kimonos and push-ups with a high retro glamour feeling. And ofcourse mucho red and black, colours of pasion and elegance. Also very interesting is the fact that the bra's are adapted for women with more heavy twins^^.

Men | Babe, dress down the suit!

Men in suits are hot.I ain't telling you something new here.
Ever since Barney Stinson came with the catchhphrase SUIT UP, it got the testosteron in men going. I sometimes see boys wearing a suit 'just because'. Well thank you Barney. Or not. 'Cause wearing a suit without any occasion can sometimes look funny (and by saying funny i'm being very friendly). Sometimes I can't block the comments in my mind going from "dude, are you going to a funeral after class 'cause it sure looks like it' to 'BRO! You is no business man! Stop acting all fancy.' Do you see the problem here? Suits are formal wear. So it looks a bit snobby wearing them as your regular outfit. On the other hand, men in suits are grrr and we like it bossy!!;)

Solution: dress down the suit! How? Take your yellow legal pad and start writing!

First option: wear your suit with knitwear!

Daddy cool! You can easily wear a knit sweater or a turtleneck with a blazer to top it off! After all, it's almost winter and your blouse doesn't keep you warm! A sweater changes your whole aura, gives you a more layed back and cosy look. Don't panic though, you still look smoking! Ladies still want to throw themselfs at you.

Second option: Chill the f*** down.

Hombre, relax! No one is going to shoot you if you loosen those top bottons of your blouse! By the way, that white blouse you're wearing? Burn those neutral colours and go fetch yourself some coloured blouses! Believe me, a colourfull blouse changes your intire look. And I don't mean only plain red or blue. I'm talking patterns here! You'll still look like a wise-guy. Just a cool one:)

Third solution: It's tee-time bitches!

My god. I think this is even hotter than your regular blouse. A man in a suit with a t-shirt has the right portion of "je m'en fous", just enough to make this one melt. Perfect for a date or a night out or, you know, just standing in tha crowd! Be carefull though. Don't go all picachu on your suit and wear some lame-ass slogan on your shirt.

Four: Accessorise!

scarf, pocket squares, a braided belt, some bracelets or some nice sunnies.. All bits help! And for god's sake it's NOT GAY to accesorise!

 
Fifth and last one: Put on your dancing shoes!

I don't really mean it like that! CAUTION! Your shoes can make or break your look! For example: Go for some colour! And if you opened any magazines lately, you would know it's okay to wear sneakers, espadrilles or even sandals with your suit.

Event | Re-opening Patrizia Pepe.

Last Friday we went to the re-opening of the Patrizia Pepe store in Antwerp. One hundred procent italian fashion. I don't know where those italian women get the courage to dress up every day, but it must have something to do with how hot the men are over there ;) Because let's be honest here ladies, one of the top 5 reasons for us to dress up is to impress a man! But, i'm wandering off. I'm not here to lecture;)

So what is Donna Patrizia bringing us? A whole-lotta glamour, lace, fur and bling! Very italy, very femine and very Patrizia. A lot of details for that special unexpected touch like feathers on a pump and three cats on a boot (not really three cats, I just mean a lot of fur;)). It keeps you Hot (!) in cold winter! What could we do but love it?

And before I forget: The collezione for man may not be as fab as the women collection, there were some nice pieces! Like the bow tie for example, GOT.TO.LOVE.IT(aly)! ;)

Two new places to be in Antwerp! Their collections are not only ready to wear, they're ready to love, to pull out you wallet and shop it 'till you have no money left in the bank;)
Both stores in the hear of Antwerp, stole our heart. Lovely decor and even more lovable: brands like sessùn, Won Hundred and Humanoid. They took the best from the catwalks and put it in both stores: a rich autumn colour pallet, deep red and navy, a hint of colourblocking, big knits and tailored coats! That's how we like it, keeping it pretty and warm!

In the end we only got two words: comfortable luxery!

Coloured pants part 342. One of newbies. A high waist green one from HM Trend. 

So what's new? Let's see..

One: I bought a new dress yesterday. It's pink, like a ballet tutu and I'm in love with it! 

Two: I thought I lost the bracelet my boyfriend gave me for my birthday (again), but after a panic attack or two I remembered I'd put it in one of my bags. As I'm a bag lady (not bag lady in a drifter way), it took me some time to figure out which bag. In the meantime I was trying to come up with a dramatic story to tell my boyfriend, ad I not found it. But I found it and it's on my arm again (no stress sweety;) ).

Three: I'm trying to figure out who' s Barney stinson going to mary in How I Met Your Mother #hugefan. 

Is it Nora? What about Robin? I don't want Barney to get married!

Four: I think my wisdom theeth are comming in.

BUUP! Almost forgot to tell you! Quand nous étions à Paris, we visited Showroom Belgium! Representing our -obviously great- Belgian designers! Thumbs up because?  FFI and WBDM grabbed a buch of  'Oldies' + mixed it with some newbies  a.k.a. fashionschool graduates and they hit it off on a soundtrack from  DAAN! Très, très belle!

Très top: WOLF from Sofie claes.  But ladies and gents... I'm not even going to spend time on telling you  why she's great. She is. Google her. End of dicussion. #googleismybestfriend.

By the way. It happened again. We saw the collection el sisters of Filles a Papa presented, and we *snaped* (north-africa style).The  collection was over the top awesomeness and both me and my sister had  to hush that evil little voice inside our heads telling us to 'go meshugga, grab all you can and run like forest gump on high heels'. 

Obviously we act all 'cool' and stood there discussing the fantastic-ness over a drink and a cupcake, just like grown-ups do.

Day two in Paris we went to the Pinko fashion show. Presenting their s/s 2012 collection 'Uniqueness' designed by Alessandra Facchinetti. The collection was presented in the Musée Jeu de Paume, a place which matched the collection perfectly. The thing we loved about Uniqueness : it was seasonless. A collection that covered all 4 seasons, I have to say Alessandra put in amazing work! She knows what she's doing and she's very talented!

Hi there lady-boys!

This is the outfit I wore to the Jean Paul Lespagnard show on our first day. 

We kind of miscalculated on the weather. We left Belgium wearing long pants and a sweater, but ariving in Paris, it was 30 degrees -__-. I could kill myself. We had aranged our outfits the day before thinking it would be cold. 

So there I was in Paris with a leather jacket and a heatproblem. 'And NO you're not taking off the jacket', 'Hanan said to me. 'Otherwise the outfit is f*cking dull!'. 

The one thing I could do, was pinning up my hair in a knot. No problem ;)

Just came back from paris! It was so much fun, I can't even begin to tell you! Day one, we went to the 'somewhere in between' show from Jean Paul Lespagnard. Ball play vibes à volonté! His spring summer 2012 collection was mainly street with luxery fabrics and come chique touches here and there. The shoes he made for the models to wear were fabulous! White sneakers on Zori (a geisha inspired /japanese wooden sandal)! Very clever, but not recommended wearing in real life when not planing to commit suicide;)

What's MAC bringing out for our lips this fall? We got these three beauties! Offshoot, sweet lover and good times! Two nudes and a pinky! ;) 

I'm kind of turned off by the the super nude colour of 'secret lover', but Hanan is crazy about it! I guess she wants her intire face pale haha;) I'll post a picture of her wearing it, later on our facebook, 'cause it's actually even pretty when she puts it on. Even though I'm not really into secret lover (for myself) I do like the 'good times' lipglass! The shade is not really made for my skintone since this one too is a nude. But there are some pros too!First: it's Mac so it smells delish! I wanna cover myself in that smell. They should make a perfume from it, Iwould TOTALLY buy it!

Secondly, the texture of the lipglass is amazing (so soft and not sticky!) and it sits on your lips perfectly!

But to be honest I'm more of a 'Offshoot' fan! It's a pink-plum with subtle red undertones and a creme sheen  finish. True love (for the moment;) ). I have it in my bag all the time now! It's my new bestie;)!

Event | Walter Van Beirendonck 'THE WORLD AWAKE' expo Momu.

Last week we went to The Fashion Museum in Antwerp for an expo showing the 30 years of impressive work of Walter Van Beirendonck, one of the Antwerp Six. Also known for the costumes he designed in 1997 for U2's PopMart Tour.

We already knew Walter is an eccentric designer, using bold colours, leather and cartoon characters, sometimes inspired by bondage but mainly by the male genitalia. So, d*icks everywhere! :O 
BUT, his clothes also drew attention to socially critical themes like ecology, AIDS, mass, ...which I think is great!

This expo is a Walter walhalla. Walter's wonder wall, with the striking designs and all the personal memories, a wall full of objects, photographs and texts that inspired the designer during his career. 

We couldn't resist the Walter-paintings on the wall so went all mesuggah-fashionfabrice style on it haha. We also wrote a message for him in the guestbook^^. Hope he reads it!:p Anyhow! You.Must.go.and.watch!

Burberry Bold – No doubt, one of the most anticipated shows of London Fashion Week!! I wish I could have my own Christopher Bailey sewing clothes for me at home! The Summer 2012 collection  was -again- fantastic! 

No wonder it's the one show people are fighting eachother to get tickets for! 

Bailey struck us again! With structured parkas, pleated dresses and the traditional  trench, the Burberry girl once again reinvented herself for the new  season with eclectic prints and flirty silhouettes.*Yeey*!! 

Now I need to find me a sugga-daddy to pay me some Burberry! ;)

Hi there ladies!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is our first outfit post as sisters together in our bloghistory! *pop champagne* I love that dress I'm wearing in this post by the way. One of my new favourites! The one Hanan's wearing is actually mine. Here comes a confession. I kind of gained some weight on the ass-zone and bought it without trying it on forst (as usual.. BAD habit!). I love the neon so I'm secretly jalouse 'cause I can't wear it myself. Thanks a lot, Big Derriére!

Something else: 

We had the best pampering this sunday in one of our best friend's XXL bathroom/spa. Hottube, sauna, steaming, scrubbing, exfoiliating... never felt so clean! The best 4 hours spent in a LONG time *for sure* ! Taking a normal 5 minute shower feels kind of dirty right now -__-. Also, we kept on eating candy and other sweets the entire afternoon and evenening. I seriously hope we've sweat it all out in the sauna. In the meantime you won't find me on ANY weighing machine *scared*. 

This doesn't really help me get in my neon dress now does it? 

On the other hand I have a sweet tooth so diet ain't in my vocabulary!

Event | Swapping Week!

Swapping week was *sweet*! We had so much fun! We went to the swapping in Antwerp and Gent! My closet is fuller, my wallet's still happy!

We've swapped so manny things I just want to spread them all over my bed and start dancing in the middle!^^ I would almost go that far and announce a shop-stop untill next swapping week! But I know myself, so no lies! ;) But still! I'm happy as a hippo as they say! Can't wait to show you a swapped outfit. The ladies from Label M. did my hair AMAZING! I loved the big hair! Farah had nails done by pronails, I had a massage, we met Sopie from Je suis Sophie, the gorgeous twins from The Mad Twins and Manon from I love Affreux, we laughed a lot and ate those b-e-a-utiful cupcakes. 

On to the next one! Winter edition here we come!

My boyfriend hates the colour red. It cranks him up. He never let me kiss him if I'm wearing red lipstick. And a couple of months ago I was cleaning out my closet (again), and discovered I really had nothing red except for my red pants. So I told him about this and he laught and said I never bought red because a little voice inside me always told me not to because of him! :O

 Got me thinking...

SO TRUE. 

Two days later I came home with this dress. Just to make a point ;). I love it though. It's from Zara and the fabric is amazing!

Hi darlings!

Last week we went to the Miele  Catwalk in Brussels! This is one of Belgium's biggest events, with  fashionshows of 16 Belgian designers showing their  new A/W collection:  Filles a papa, Olivier  Strelli, Essentiel, Just in Case, Xandres,  Scapa, Marie Jo, Bshirt, Inge  Van den Broeck, Jantine of Peski, Joanne Vanden Avenne, Sandrina Fasoli, Aurore Brun, Lenny Leleu, Tim Van Steenbergen and Natan.

Our favourites were Essentiel with the bright colours and the femininity, Filles a papa bringing the extra touch of glitter, the   butterfly dress from Tim Van Steenbergen and the weddingdress Natan  designed...which gave us a princess-feeling all over the place:).

We also had a lovely chat with Valerie from Fashionwise who we met from the first time!

Hi guys!

I finally found some time to do a new post. We're both kind of...bumped. Exams are stealing all our spare time so hang in there, we'll be back full speed.. soon;) 

We did something new this time for the outfit post! Weather is @#!%^à!çih4=`£ so we shot thepictures inside :) It's freezing outside like it's november already. You can't wear a sweater without turning all chickenskin haha. You just gooooottta love Belgium weather. Goosbumps and rain! Halleluja.

Anyway, the other day me and Farah were watching the X factor UK online. We're such suckers for shows like that^^. Makes us want to leave Belgium and go live in a crappy, pettite overpriced flat in London. But as we check the weaterchannel, it's even worse over there, so thanks but no thanks. ANYWAY. wandering off again! We saw some amazing auditions (SO good they made Farah a.k.a. crybaby weep like a 6 year old) and one I just want to share with you! I LOVE this guy haha. Bad boys are awesome!

Event | Forever 21 store opening ANTWERP

On monday FOREVER 21 opened its long-awaited doors for me in Antwerp. I haven't been to the one in Brussels so my expectations were high! The building spans three floors of fan-tast-tic interiour. Really fancy with big ass lusters, shiny mirrors and a whole-lotta-clothes!! I went MESHUGGAH! I spend 2 hours deciding what I wanted, because, there was SO MANY :D
I'll show you the stuff I got in a later post. For now, just enjoy the pictures and run, ruuuuun to forever 21!

Hi everyone! 

Today's Farah's birthday! The girl is 22 now! (WHOOPWHOOP)
Yesterday we were talking and I told her she's pushing 25 right now, she needs to start working out before gravity (=number 1 bitch on earth) attacks and everything starts hanging. She.didn't.like.that.at.all. (evil me haha).I had to run because she chased me with a shoe (who's evil now, huh!).

So I went to the mall yestarday for a gift (I KNOW, super last minute...-__-),but it turned out I forgot my bankcard at home (or, if I don't find it today, someone stole it!). So instead I came up with a funny birthdaywish which made her forget about pushing 25 AND the gift!

In the meantime, I'll just be the best sister (for a day) and go get her food everytime she's hungry(aka be her personal lacky/bitch for 24 hours!).

1. T-shirts are aweomse as a basic on everything. Just jump out of bed (wash yourself), throw on a tee (and a pair of jeans/a skirt or at least  some undies..) and you're good to go!

2. T-shirts NEVER go out of style (except for the 'I'm SEXY'-shirt people were wearing back in the nineties.. WHAT WAS WRONG WITH PEOPLE)

3. T-shirts are awesome. I say it again so you'll remember.

4. T-shirts are afforable. Even from a high brand, it's the cheapest item.

5. You can steal your boyfriend's T-shirt, wear it, and STILL look super hot.

I'm telling ya, if you want to buy a new tee, buy a WILDFOX one. 

Why? first: I'm teling ya. Second, seriously, Google it! They're awesome, unique, hot, and.. only for the cool kids! ;)

Make-up | The eyebrow issue x ANASTASIA

I've been having fighting my eyebrows since I turned 14. But back then, I didn't mind my croocked eyebrows because all I wanted to do was play with my friends. UNTIL one day I realized my eyes both seemed to be in other places because my eyebrows were so different and just.. 100% crazy. Not cute At all. So teenager-moi grabbed my sisters tweezers and started to pluck like a maniac! Result: almost allmy eyebrow hair was gone and I looked like an alien = FAIL. I cut bangs to cover it, and once it all grew back, I jumped at the tweezers again. Result: second fail. That's when I had enough. I seated myself behind my computer and started browsing what I had to do to shape these unmanageable eyebrows.

Thats's when I discovered Anastasia online (you can also get it in Sephora)! Well thank you lord!  Clearly everyone except for me used it. Even Madonna and Oprah did their eyebrows with Anastasia!! The awesome thing about Anastasia is that it's for everyone! You can shape your eyebrown perfectly and fill them in with a perfect matching colour! That's another thing I've  learned! Fulling in your eyebrows with a colour matching yours to make them appear fuller and more pretty. Result: I finally find a way to manage my eyebrows and now they look pretty fine don't you think?:)

Antwerp designer duo A.F. Vandevorst signed a colabo with Arrow, the oldest American shirt label, known for their crispy white shirts. To celebrate this exclusive collabo, there was a little party held on August 13,at Villa II in Knokke. Here you could buy one of the 20 limited editions shirts in store. Putting their A.F. Vandevorst signature in red, it is the perfect detail on a fresh white shirt.

I can already imagine it with red lips, jeans and a leather jacket. How easy can stylish be?

This morning was so creepy. It was storming so hard the sky turned black and the rain was pouring from heaven like CRAZY. I almost began praying to the Mayas for this day not to be the end ;) Now it's hot outside, just like a summerday should be. The world's gone loco that's for sure. Seasons all messed up. I'm weeping for humanity. 

By the way I came to conclusion I'm SUPER pale on these pictures! I took them befone I went to Palestine so it might have been a side effect of the June exam period haha! 

One last remark: I wish there was more sun in Belgium. Sun makes your hair grow. I cut the ends and now its grows as slow as a turtle. Anyone some tips for letting it grow FAST? :)

Last week we visited the the pop up store of REDValentino in Knokke. As we walked in the greenhouse we were welcomed by a swarm of butterflies at the door! All in theme of the garden, Valentino did an amazing job. Everything was pink and green, lots of accessories, garden-sexy overalls and floral dresses! The cuteness was dripping all over the place! Even I, who hates gardening had to stop myself from buying those *adorable* wellies with the pink ribbon (click see more)!We had a drink outside as the weather was great that day (at least, for our standards!)!

Make up | Rituals

And a make up haul post from Rituals! My personal favourite for a blush is a peachy tone. This Rituals cheek & eye glow in peach-palette is both for your eyes and your cheeks, and I use it for both! the white shimmer is perfect as a highlighter, and for my cheeks I just swirl my brush in all the shades for a gorgeous  peach glow! The package is for me also important. It's black and shiny and thank god, it has a big mirror:) (you can see the swatches if you click read more!)

The cream and care lipstick in mandarin is a real thumbs up! I love the orange shade, because its subtile and not all out there! Its pigmented, super creamy on your lips and it lasts! My lips feel really soft when I use it and it hydrates so I don't use any other lipbalm.

To continue the orange mania *drool* I have the Rituals Baby Orange nailpolish. My fingersnails look like little oranges! It's the perfect summer nailpolish! It's very pigmented, you have enough after two layers and it's just like the lipstick a frash but subtile orange! The quality of this nailpolish is great, unlike other highbrand polishes. 

Last but not least, the pure color eye pencil in royalty! This pencil has two caps, one side is the eye pencil, on the other side, a little sponge to fade your liner! Really easy if you don't want to put a thick black line! Also again I think the pencil pigment is great, it's  not too hard and it stays a long time. So over all I am very pleased with these products and they get a spot in  my daily routine:)

SO, yesterday was my birthday! I'm 20 now! *yelling* No worries, I'm already using anti-aging crème for a year now, and I also stopped frowning, in case I got upcomming wrinkles. I had already told Farah I dind't want a huge jar of that shit, 'cause I was reading her mind andI was like 'hell no sista!'. That girl wanted to give me a cheap ass crème, making me even look older *evil*. She ended up giving me the Chloe perfume -which I wanted for ages but I was always putting off buying it- so now I'm a happy gal *big smile!*I smell like...I really nice smelling 20 year old with fear for wrinkles *YEEY*!
I celebrated MY day with my parents and my bro's and sis' which was really lovely. Afterward I had dinner-double date with Farah and our boyfriends, drove by a nightshop for some drinks and had an afterparty at home *whooooot! FashionFabrice style!*

WE ARE REPLAY | Replay SS12 Fashion show

A week ago we went with our friends Jens and Elise to the Replay fashion show in  Antwerp. What a show and what a party! It was fabulous! 

The location, FC70's replay showroom, was stylish, black and hot!

We had (some) yummie models showing off the SS12 collection of Replay, Red Seal and White Seal. We saw some great pieces walking by! A perfect red leather jacket for example. A go getta! It's all you need to spice up your jeans! 

In the meanwhile, we could sip delicious Martini and Liefmans cocktails. The food was so good you had to queue! And the best thing: the people! We had a long chat with the Julie and Britt from Strutterview and met the fantastic Emmanuel from You Saved The Queen! He's so lovely and such a fashionqueen! 1 Love. (Especially because of his moves! Un hombre with some danceskills can always win me over!)

All by all, Fashionclub 70 did an amazing job hosting this party and fashion show!

Today's articel is something different. Not fashion related at all, I'm going to tell you guys how I manage my super annoying curly and frizzy hair!:)

When I was little and my mommy still did my hair, I remember crying  every day when she was combing my hair. Back than it was even more curly and with every move she was killing me! Or that's what it felt like to a 5 year old over-dramatic:) So to be clear, my mommy didn't use any hairproduct at all to soften it, untill she got this haircream from my aunt that was actually made for afro hair. That was by the age of 10 by the way. That's right. It took 10 year haha:) 

SO that's when I got hooked. No more combing my hair without hairproducts!I'm going to review the products that I'm using daily. This isn't a routine, or products that I'm going to use for the rest of my life.I love switching my hairproducts and testing out new ones!

My favoutites:

-Label M protein spray: I'll start by saying Label Mproducts ROCK. This protein spray was given me as a sample, and I loved it from the first spray ;) It keeps my haircolour put and protects my hair against UV rays, so my hair doesn't become too dry. AND, major plus: this product smells like a pink old powderbox :)

-Hema curl activator: This is a drugstore product. It costs only 4€ but it sure does it's job! It spray it on my toweldry hair and mould it int my curls. When it dries it makes my curl look more defined and styled.

-L'oreal oilixir: I've been switching hairserums for years now. I can't manage to find one that kills the frizzyness -__-. The ones I loved most were those from John Frieda. But, that's when I got this oilixir from L'oreal! Honestly, the best hairserum I've used, e-ver! With only one pump I have enough for all my hair! :) I like!

-Garnier hair masque advocat oil: Funny story, I've never used a conditioner in my hair after washing it with shampoo until..like 6 months ago^^. I just never felt like it would do something more to my hair. And that's when my hair got extremely frizzy and dry. Hanan kind of forced me, so now I'm part of the civilized people!
I use this masque two times a week as a hairmasque and also on my dry hair as a crème.

-Got2b powder'full: this volumiszing powder is just as good as expensive ones and it's so simple to use:) You just sprinkle it in your palms and aply it on the roots of your hair to give a lifting effect! It' the perfect size to fit your bag! I would recommend this if you have thin hair for more volume!

-Syoss shine boost: And yet another product I love for it's smell. I guess I'm a sucker for scents;) 
This shine spray is just a finishing touch I spray on just before leaving the house for a healthy shine.

This is what I wore when I went to the Forever 21 party, but with different shoes! Talking about Forever 21, we FINALLY know when the store in Antwerp is opening!

*drumroll*

September the 3rd!!

All dutchies go loco right now! *whoo!* Fi-nal-ly! Every time I go to work and walk past the building, I still see builders carring half walls and dragging lamps and other stuff inside. I always wonder when they're finally going to get it going! And now we finally have an official date! Oh dear, if they disappoint us again and postpone. Then I'll start pulling my hair.

And another announcement!  I'll stop shopping for a month from now on. It's not that I want it 100%, but it had to happen. First, I spent all my money on shopping, so I have been living on breadcrumbs now. Two, my parents and boyfriend are pretty mad (^^) and threy kind of  forced me and three: my closet is full and I have no space left for new clothes. Boehoe me. I just need a bigger wardrobe and we're all happy, right?:p

So that's it for today's news!

My love for Carrie Bradshaw is huge. I can't begin to describe how crazy I am about Carrie and SATC. It's an addiction, one that made me start blogging. 

As much as I love Carrie, the forever single 'gal' from NYC with her Mr. Big, Sarah Jessica Parker, the real lady, is different. 

That's why I love this editorial so much. Mario Testino ( ALL TIME FAVOURITE PHOTOGRAPHER) shot these pictures perfect for Vogue US! This is just how I pictured Sarah o be in real life. Elegant, warm and loving.

If I ever meet Mario I'm jumping at him and thinking him for his talent! True story!  I'm putting it on my bucket list ;)!

Tommy Hilfiger Prep pop-up store

Fiday we visited the Tommy Hilfiger Prep pop-up store in Knokke. And there is no denying it anymore. The casual-chic style of rich American school boys and girls is totally hot and preppy is taking over Hilfiger! 

The thing about preppy, it's not all about clothes. Preppies are sporty types who like to travel, adore their parents and love the club, cocktails and their dogs. ^^ 100% Hamptons and Gossip Girl, as Hanan was yelling when she saw the fantastic bow ties!

Tommy might have been thinking the same when he designed this preppy collection! You can get a fancy polo and at the same time buy a glossy leash for your dog and a book to read on a lazy afternoon, all preppy style!

You can score the limited edition at selected Tommy Hilfiger stores and in the pop-up store. This pop-up store was - suitable for the collection - a wooden beach house and makes a tour around the world. In April 2011 started the prep shop open for two weeks in New York, and traveled from there to Paris, London, Amsterdam, Milan, Stockholm, Madrid and now Knokke. It will remain until August 14 in Knokke.

Hi darlings!
Excuse us the lack of posts lately! We had such a busy (but also fun) weekend! We went to the Knokke (a.k.a. the beach) on friday and..Wait, I hear you think 'beach? Belgium?'. It's a true fact! We have some kilometers beach in Belgium. But I'm telling you already, it's kind of crappy and most of the time super cold and rainy haha :) But where was I..

Aha, so we went to the Prep Pop-Up store from Tommy Hilfiger, visisted Red Valentino and AF Vandevorst.AND we had some beachtime, dippping our toes in the sea!

Last night we went to the Replay fashion show. We had a great show, saw some yummie models, made new friends and had a fabulous afterparty!

That's how Fashionfabrice likes it;)

Well I had that with these pants! I've been having them for three years now, never worn them before, but I seem to like them now:) Cleaning out your closet it great for making second opinions on clothes:)

Hi everyone!

Yesterday I had a day off from work so I went shopping with Farah and a friend. But as you all know probably, in the end of the sales the only sizes that are left are super tiny, or superbig.
Well, I bought socks? :) So far a rewarding shopping trip... At least Farah came back home with a pile of stuff!
We went to H&M and found shoes for 3€.
Really, 3 €, it's no spelling mistake ;) You'll see them in one of the next posts, they're so pretty (I was super jealous and curses my super small feet!)!

Marc Jacobs is one of our favourite designers. Ofcourse everyone knows how fantastic his womenswear is, but we tend to forget about his menswear! So for today: the preview of the Marc Jacobs spring/summer 2012 collection ,which I think is going to be a hit!
At least, If I was a dude with a fashion addiction, I would be craving for a lot of this collection!

I just absolutely love that mix of very conservative items like the knit cardigans together with the to-die-for gold plated oxfords and shiny semi-plastic..? don't really know how to describe these awesome trousers?! Any suggestions?:)

All together, Jacobs never disappoints! Am I right?

Hi darlings!

I'm having my fingers crossed! It didn't rain for more than 24 hours now! So excuse me my evil face on the pictures, I wasn't used to the sun ^^

So as the sun was shining for a day, I had a lazy day in the garden, finished reading my book ('The Sum of Our Days' from my favourite writer Isabel Allende), and snapped an outfit picture. Good times!

Yesterday was a national holiday which means everything's closed in Belgium. So my plan was having some quality time with the boyfriend and going to the Netherlands :)

By the way I'm so happy with my sweater/dress from Rütme! The colourcombination is just perfect! I love their clothes! You should check them out!
